Russ Harrison
Reidsville, NC
I was licensed as WN4NCC in Feb., 1975. Remained
a Novice until fall '75 when I went to Tech class with a call
of WA4NCC. One month later passed General class maintaining
my call WA4NCC. In 2002 received my novice call back as a vanity
call, just did not hear that many novice calls anymore. In June
of 2009 upgraded to Amateur Extra and changed my call again this
time going with NC4CN.
My equipment consists of mostly Icom radios: IC-746 PRO; 2 IC-2720's
(one base, one moble); IC-207h; Kenwood HT (my oldest radio.)
Have also Ameritron 811H amplifier.
Antenna system very simple they consist of: 80-40-20-10 Inverted
V; 160 meter Inverted V ready to put up; 10 meter vertical and
a 2Meter/440 mhz vertical for the house IC-2720. Am building
a 6 meter Squalo that is about finished .
Took 35 five years to reach the top; so I finally say I'VE ATLAST
ARRIVED! Ready for ragchewing and retirement
